About us

Rurban Research Foundation (RRF) is a pioneering non-governmental, non-profit organization committed to bridging the developmental divide between rural and urban India. Founded in 2012 under the name Gondwana Research Foundation, the organization has evolved in both scope and vision. In its new avatar as Rurban Research Foundation, it continues to drive innovative solutions for inclusive, sustainable development.

At RRF, we envision a future where every community—rural or urban—has access to quality education, healthcare, safe water, dignified livelihoods, and opportunities for growth and cultural expression. We believe that integrated development models rooted in local participation and informed by research can transform societies.
